School Holiday Search and Rescue

If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to be part of a search and rescue team, this is the activity for you! Working as a team, you will work together to find and extract a casualty. During this activity you will be learning skills such as using 2 way radios, making use of search and rescue equipment as well as learning to map read.

Age Range: 8 to 14 yrs

Venue: Archerfield Walled Carden

Duration: 3 hrs

Time: 9.30am to 12.30pm or 1pm to 4pm

What to bring
Clothing suitable for the weather – layers are recommended
Sturdy trainers or walking shoes/boots
Water & Snack
Sunscreen in hotter weather
