Navigation Courses

We offer navigation courses in Edinburgh, East Lothian and surrounding areas. These are available as introductory and intermediate courses as well as night navigation. Courses are offered to individuals and groups, with programmed dates throughout the year.

  • Introductory Navigation Day

    If you are new to map reading and navigation, or have some knowledge but are needing to brush up on your skills, then this is the course for you. We offer our introductory navigation course in the Pentland or Lammermuir Hills.

  • Intermediate Navigation Day

    Our intermediate navigation course is for those who already have basics map skills, and are looking to begin confidently venturing to new, more remote places, and learning the skills for walking in poor visibility.

  • Night Navigation

    Night navigation is available in the Pentland and Lammermuir Hills. The disorientation of a dark night offers a great environment to hone your navigational skills as well as being great fun.
