Kayaking
We offer kayaking in East Lothian, Edinburgh and surrounding areas. We have a range of kayak types, including closed cockpit, sit on top and sea kayaks. We offer taster sessions, lessons and journey’s, as well as British Canoeing Paddle Awards and Paddle Safer Awards. Sessions are offered to individuals and groups and as part of our school holidays provision. Kayaking is also a great option for a fun and exhilarating birthday party.

School Holidays
During school holiday periods, we offer a wide range of activities for children aged 8 to 14 years. This includes paddling activities, mountain biking, rock climbing, coasteering, bushcraft and more. Please click below to find out more about this extensive programme.

Taster Session (Ideal for complete beginners)
New to Kayaking? Come and have your first experience in a fun, safe environment. Try out the various types of kayak we have on offer. Learn the basic strokes and gradually build your confidence. We’re sure you’ll be back for more.

Kayak Lesson (Inc BC Paddle Safer Award)
If you are looking to be coached through the basic strokes and rescue techniques, with a view to taking up kayaking, then a lesson on flat, sheltered water is a good place to start. This 3 hour session also includes British Canoeing’s Paddle Safer Award.

Groups
We offer a wide range of paddlesport options for private group bookings. We have paddleboards, kayaks and canoes and can deliver anything from flat water taster sessions to journeys and expeditions. We can also incorporate challenges and games, ideal for staff team away days, families, youth and uniformed groups. Please get in touch to discuss options.

Birthday Parties
Paddlesports are a great activity for a birthday party. We have a wide range of craft including kayaks, paddleboards and canoes. We can tailor activities to one specific craft or incorporate all. Our highly qualified enthusiastic staff will ensure a fun and safe experience for all.
