Venturing Out is East Lothian's Premier Outdoor Activities Provider offering Adventures for all.

Whether you are looking for holiday activities for the kids, a coastal journey on paddleboards, a staff team away day or a private party, we have it all.

Venturing Out is a not for profit organisation. Buying from us means we can offer activities to local families whose children have additional support needs and those living with financial hardship.

January has been a busy month! It might be cold outside but that doesn’t put us off getting people outdoors and adventuring!

It has been an amazing year, doing more of what we do. We’ve continued our ASN Provision which is now in its 6th year, expanded our Adventure Wellbeing Programmes with the addition of the East Lothian

Next adventure on the list for the East Lothian Carers’ Adventure Wellbeing Group was a walk from East Linton to the top of Traprain Law and back. A beautiful walk on a crisp winters day. The sun was trying to peek through up at the top of Trap

Our ASN Provision has gone from strength to strength over the last few months - so busy we have got behind with posting! We rounded off the warmer months with water activities sessions before moving into the woods for some winter Bushcraft.

Wonderful day in the woods last week with the East Lothian Carers’ Adventure Wellbeing Group! We set a challenge to make soup and bread for lunch over the campfire and it is safe to say the challenge was met!
